Me and my camera.
There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.

I use a Nikon D7000 with these lenses (click the names for links):
Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D.
Anybody with a Nikon DSLR should own one of these.
Nikon 35mm f/1.8 DX.
Another awesome prime lens.
Nikon 135mm f/2 AI-s.
One of the best bargains in Nikon glass. This is a prime lens that weighs a ton and is fun as hell to shoot with (at least partially because it’s manual focus only). Make sure the metering works on your camera body! They’re not everywhere, but you can find them. Check out my other blog’s post (link) and do not confuse this lens with Nikon’s MUCH more expensive AF DC-Nikkor 135mm f/2 D (link).
This was the kit lens for what is now my wife’s D80. I LOVED this lens! It was sharp and very lightweight. Unfortunately it fell apart and half of it is probably still lying on the side of a highway in Tibet somewhere. Oh well. A cool final resting place I guess.
